No, that's not a typo. A new TrickStarters is here! (If you haven't seen them yet, TrickStarters is a new magic series presented by Zach King and theory11, designed with help from Tenyo and Blake Vogt.) These may look like simple magic toys, but each trick is a masterfully designed mini stage illusion. You can browse the full list of them here.
Yesterday, they released "The Holey Grail". This miniature version of the classic Sword Box lets you push swords through the solid figurine. It's easy to do, fun, and makes for the perfect gift for the magician or magic lover in your life.
Each TrickStarter magic trick is taught by Zach King with crystal clear instructions, making it incredibly easy to take them out of the box and perform them within minutes! Special thanks to Zach King, Tenyo, and Blake Vogt for bringing these ideas to reality and into your hands. |

| Break Thru
You hold a deck box at your fingertips, and without any cover, push a solid spike right through the center. When you open the box, however, you show that a solid acrylic block was inside the whole time.
There's no sequence to follow. No layered procedure. Just a single action... and a result that shouldn't exist. The visual is immediate. There is no way there could be any hidden mechanism inside either, since they can see right through it. The acrylic block genuinely occupies the full internal space. It is simply impossible. |

| PortHole
A hole is punched at one end of a card; a black sticker is placed at the other. You slide a pencil into the hole, but the pencil tip appears to come directly through the sticker on the opposite side. It's fun, visual, and easy. But the greatest part? Everything can be examined, both before and after.
“Porthole” may look like something that can only work for social media, but we promise it looks even better in person. It comes with everything you need to perform this hyper visual effect, as well as a protective sleeve to keep your gimmick safe. |

| Spectra
You ask your participant to name absolutely any color. They freely select a card, lose it back into the deck, and without any suspicious moves, the back of the card they chose becomes the color they freely named.
But it’s not over yet. You place the card face down in their hands and ask a second participant to choose a card. Their card is lost in the deck, and you ask them what card they chose. They name it, and the card the first participant is holding has changed into the second participant's selection. |
