Your participant selects a card and holds it, hiding it from your view. After concentrating on their card, you take out a Sharpie and draw some dots on the back of an indifferent card.
You show it to your participant. At first, it doesn't look like anything. But slowly the dots begin to visually move, organizing and forming a number and a suit. It's their card! You can even give it away as a souvenir. |

| Sharpie Imposter You invite five participants on stage, and, with your back turned, have them each choose a Sharpie out of a tube. Four of the Sharpies have black on the tips, but one Sharpie has a red tip. Despite your back being turned, you ALWAYS know who took the Sharpie with the red end.
