Most magicians have probably performed John Cornelius’ classic "Pen Through Anything" at some point. The ability to pierce a borrowed bill with a pen, and show it from all angles to "prove" its gone clean through before audibly ripping and restoring the bill, is truly one of the most perfect illusions in magic.
