You explain that you've memorised the phone numbers of every single contact in your phone book. To verify that it is, in fact, your phone book (it really is!), you can have a friend find their own phone number.
You instruct them to scroll through your phone book and select any other contact that they want. Immediately, you're able to recite their phone number. Then, you do it again, and again. You can also recall addresses, birthdays, and even wifi passwords! They can change their mind at any point and you can be stood on the other side of the room. There's no peeking or electronic transfer of information.
