The new Axial corner anchors make for an intuitive pitch, and once it’s up, the pre-bent pole structure holds its shape well, even in sustained wind. The OSMO fabric is a highlight. It sheds water reliably and feels far more stable when wet than the older silnylon I've used. It’s made from recycled yarns and dyed with a low-impact process, which feels like a step in the right direction, sustainability-wise.
At 1719g (2 Person), it’s not the lightest in our line-up, but for the interior space and all-weather reliability, it still fits the bill for weight-conscious two-person backpacking.
