The 2026 Stella Prize Chair of Judges, Sophie Gee
The six books shortlisted for the 2026 Stella Prize have been revealed. This year's shortlist includes two novels, Fireweather by Miranda Darling and I am Nannertgarrook by Tasma Walton; Evelyn Araluen's galvanising collection of poetry, The Rot; the graphic novel Cannon, by Lee Lai; Geraldine Brooks' memoir, Memorial Days; and 58 Facets, a meditation on resistance and revolution from Marika Sosnowski.
