Today is Indigenous Literacy Day; a day where we celebrate the culture, stories and language of First Nations peoples. To mark the day, we are supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, a not-for-profit charity that strives to reduce the literacy gap and improve outcomes for young First Nations people in remote communities.
Readings will donate 10% of all book purchases made in our shops today (Wednesday 3 September), as well as all donations to the Readings Foundation made in shops this month, including proceeds from our gift wrapping service.
Plus, make a tax-deductible donation to the ILF through our fundraising page during the month of September and Readings will match it up to a total of $10,000!
