We would like to provide an update following our recent announcement regarding Olivia’s Trains.
Since our original statement, circumstances have changed, and Rails of Sheffield will no longer be taking over the Olivia’s Trains brand. Olivia’s Trains have decided not to proceed with the agreement, and as such, they will continue to operate independently.
However, we want to reassure our customers that very little has changed in our plans. We are still moving ahead with the launch of our own customisation services - Rails Bespoke, offering digital & sound fittings, high-quality weathering and other customisations for your locomotives and rolling stock.
Our new highly experienced customisation team is eager to begin. We are applying the finishing touches to our bespoke studio with state of the art technology, heavily investing in expert technicians and equipment. No expense has been spared making sure we have the best of the best.
The Rails Bespoke service is currently in development, and we look forward to sharing full details with you some time later this month.

Hornby are going for gold with these new special edition announcements!
They have revealed that they are to produce models of both the one-off Drax 50th Anniversary vehicles - including the 66301 'Drax Power Station 50' Diesel Locomotive AND an IIA-D Drax Biomass Hopper Wagon in the accompanying gold livery too! These are both available to pre-order now for release in March 2026. |

Following the first release of their all-new Class 47 in 2021, and subsequent batches in recent years, Bachmann have just announced an even more enhanced version of their brilliant model for release in the first half of 2026.
Five new variations are available in this batch in BR blue, Railfreight grey, Rail Express Systems and West Coast Railways liveries.
Amongst various improvements - these new Class 47s will now feature a 'Bach-Up' Stay Alive system, new Dual XL speakers, revised cab windscreens and updated snowplows. What's more, 'Deluxe DCC Sound' models will now feature the innovative Auto-Release couplings. |
