Following on from their new announcement on Friday, Rapido Trains UK have shared a number of other project updates and upcoming order deadlines in OO Gauge! We've compiled all of their top news here in a roundup for you - so check out all the latest from Rapido.
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT LNWR BRAKE VANS
In case you missed it, Rapido have just announced a newly tooled range of LNWR Dia.17B 'Crystal Palace' brake vans in OO Gauge! A diverse range of 14 different models are to be produced covering LNWR, LMS, BR and private owner/ industrial colour schemes.
Following on from their recent update, Rapido have received additional colour bodyshell samples for their next batch of Hunslet 16" 0-6-0ST steam locomotives in OO Gauge!

Rapido have also advised that their newly tooled Class 44 'Peak' locomotives are currently flying through production at their factory! Here is a sneak preview of some of the decorated bodyshells. The final models are expected to arrive by the end of Q2 2025.

Another model nearing the end of the production process is the newly tooled range of LBSCR Class E1 0-6-0T steam locomotives in OO Gauge! The full range is currently expected to arrive some time during Q2/ Q3 2025.

Also currently making its way through production at the factory is Rapido's newly tooled range of SECR Class O1 0-6-0 steam locomotives in OO Gauge! All being well, these are set to arrive in stock with us during Q3 2025.

Rapido have offered a sneak preview at how some of their Teak liveried 'Evolution' coaches could look! This very early engineering sample certainly looks wonderful complete in this lovely Teak finish.

In stock now is the newly tooled range of Caledonian Railway Diagram 67 10 Ton Goods Vans in OO Gauge! A whopping 22 different models are available to order covering usage by the CR, LMS, BR, NCB as well as private industrial and military operators. These feature amazing detailing, including multiple different brake types.
Also available now is another comprehensive newly tooled wagon range - the BR Diagram 1/801 Fish and Parcels Vans in OO Gauge! There are 16 versions available to order now catering for original fish traffic and later parcels and engineering duties - in a wide range of liveries.
Rounding off the trio of new wagon ranges is the latest batch of RCH (Railway Clearing House) design 7-plank open wagons in OO Gauge! A staggering range of 29 different models are now available to order covering all sorts of liveries - including Pre-Grouping and Big Four railway companies, private industrial firms, military operators and even some special fantasy models too!
