At the recent Settle Model Rail Festival, we got the chance to take a look at a very early sample of the 'Lickey Banker' 0-10-0 (aka 'Big Bertha'). This is an initial engineering sample that has been heavily used for testing purposes and hand painted into BR black by Jenny Kirk.
At the show the loco was seen hauling huge wagon trains along DCC Concepts' Ribblehead Layout and performed without fault - so we look forward to seeing updated samples of this release in the future!
