The team from Cavalex Models have provided us with some updates on their forthcoming OO Gauge projects, including a major update on their next batch of Class 60 locomotives, which are due to arrive with us during July 2025! Check out all the latest news below...
CLASS 60 BATCH 2 PRODUCTION SAMPLES
First off, we're delighted to share images of the production samples for Cavalex's second batch of Class 60 diesel locomotives with you! This next run will include all remaining models in Railfreight triple grey, LoadHaul, EWS and heritage GWR green liveries.
This delivery includes our two remaining Rails EXCLUSIVE models too - including 60081 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel' in EWS heritage GWR green (Available only here at Rails) AND 60098 'Charles Francis Brush' in Railfreight Construction Sector livery - a Railway Icons model available here at Rails and with our friends at Locomotion Models.

Moving over to the OO Gauge PHA/ JGA Wagon project, Cavalex have advised that these are now in the final stages of packing ready to make their way to the UK - so we look forward to receiving these into stock sometime later in 2025!
Cavalex have also advised that our Rails EXCLUSIVE PXA Steel Coil Carriers and JXA Scrap Wagons have now moved into the production stage of the process! We look forward to sharing more updates on these with you soon as things move forward.
Finally, Cavalex have also let us know that following the Class 60s being completed - their next run of Class 56s are the next locomotives into production. This includes a whole host of new BR blue, largelogoblue, Railfreight, LoadHaul, TransRail and Colas liveries - with some EXCLUSIVE to us here at Rails/ Railway Icons.
