To be a mother is to carry a heart outside your chest, To love without reason, to give without rest. Through messy mornings and bedtime tears, She plants strength and love that lasts for years.
Mother’s Day always hits a little differently for me. I miss my mom more than words can say – she left this world too soon, and not long after, my incredible mother-in-law followed. Some days I’d give anything just to have one more cup of coffee with them, to hear their voices again, to hug them tight. But even in their absence, I feel their love in the way I raise my kids. I’m trying to be the kind of
mom they were – kind, strong, nurturing, and real. I want to pass on that fire to my children – teaching them to care for themselves, to love deeply, and to always know that they’re enough, just as they are. That’s the legacy I want to keep alive.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms receiving this – may your day be filled with love, appreciation, and the gentle reminder that everything you do matters more than you know.
