Hi ,
We know that staying safe online is as important to you as it is to us. And while none of us can control what other people say or do online, there are some ways which we can help keep safe while online or on social media.
There may be some scam websites and dodgy social media posts pretending to be us and there are ways to help you stay scam safe online.
These fakes are trying to trick people into sharing personal info, payment details, or paying shipping fees for things that don’t exist.
Website scams... what to look out for:
• Slightly misspelled URLs (like “PoundIand” with an ‘I’ instead of an ‘L’)
• Unfamiliar website designs or logos
• £1 offers that ask you to pay for postage
• Requests for personal or card details on sketchy sites
Social media scams... how to spot the fakes:
• Pages using our name but with odd usernames or low follower counts
• Posts promoting competitions or giveaways that ask for payment
• Links that don’t go to our official website
• Comments pushing you to click external links
How to shop safely...
✅ Only trust our official website: https://www.poundland.co.uk/
✅ Visit your local Poundland store – still your go to for amazing value
✅ Be cautious when clicking on ads or links
✅ If in doubt, give our Customer Relations Team a shout.
Thanks for sticking with the real Poundland – we’ve got the deals, not the dodgy links.
Take care,
The Customer Relations Team 💛
