As we head into the busy holiday season, we encourage all customers to complete a quick check on their National Luna fridges to ensure everything is in perfect working order before travelling. A few minutes of preparation now can help you avoid any unexpected issues later.
National Luna – Quick Holiday Fridge Check
Before you hit the road, take a few minutes well in advance to make sure your fridge is ready for the holidays.

Switch the fridge on at least a week before your trip.
Set your preferred temperature for both fridge and freezer compartments.
Ensure the unit cools down and maintains temperature correctly.

Clean and inspect the lid seal for cracks, dirt, or wear.
Confirm the lid closes flat and latches securely.
Pro Tip for Holiday Travel – Pre-Cooling
Pre-cool your fridge/freezer on household AC power before loading it with supplies and switching to 12 V. This reduces strain on your system and prevents unnecessary power draw during the first few hours of travel.
If your unit requires any servicing or repairs, please drop it off at your nearest Outdoor Warehouse store. We will arrange for it to be sent to the supplier, but kindly ensure it reaches us no later than 20 November to avoid any delays ahead of the festive season.
Courier costs for sending units to the supplier may apply and can be discussed with our in-store staff when you drop off your fridge.
