Despite what sounded like a pretty straightforward name, this effect has nothing to do with carnivorous, fin-footed, semiaquatic, mostly marine mammals; instead, it focuses on the seal on a tuck case. Your spectator selects a card, and it's lost back in the deck. You set the entire deck aside and grab the empty card box. With a magical move of your choosing, the seal visually disappears from the box. Now, you spread the deck to reveal that the seal hasn't vanished, it's now stuck on the back of a card.
