The Biggest Miracle in the Tiniest Package
The Void by our own Javier Fuenmayor and Lloyd Barnes is one of the cleanest ways to switch items in and out of play while the gimmick remains in clear view of your spectators.
It’s two small metal frames that are attached with a hinge. Each has a layer of clear plastic, so you can always see what’s inside. The gimmick attaches to your keychain too, meaning anywhere that you go, it goes.
So, what does it do?
Picture an ending to ambitious card routine. Your audience has been watching their signed card jump up the deck time and time again. But then you spread the deck to reveal their card has completely vanished, and their card has been on your keychain the entire time. They can even be the ones to grab it from the keychain and unfold it.
But it’s not just playing cards. Anything that you can fit inside the gimmick is fair game to be switched in and out of play.
Our favorite visual is made possible with the inclusion of the “Extra Visual Module.” This secondary gimmick is included with every Void and allows you to hold an empty keychain up to your audience, give it a quick shake and have a coin suddenly, visually, and audibly appear in front of them.
