The best drawing duplication -- app or otherwise
When Jake Keane first pitched us this concept, it sounded almost impossible: a completely self-working drawing duplication that fits right in your pocket. The result? The award-winning NOT.ESP.
Here's how it plays out. Pull out your phone and open the notes app. On this virtual canvas, you sketch out your prediction. Set your phone face down and ask your spectator to take out their own phone. Tell them you're going to mentally send them an image and watch as they draw exactly what you had in mind. When you flip your phone over, the drawings perfectly match.
That alone would be enough. But here's where it gets interesting. The obvious assumption — that the drawings are synced over Bluetooth — gets thrown right out the window when your spectator doesn't even need a phone at all.
Hand them nothing. Have them draw in the air with their finger. The effect plays exactly the same.
That's the moment it stops feeling like a clever app and starts feeling like genuine magic that happens to use an app as a prop. Mark Elsdon put it best when he called it "the best app available at Blackpool." We're not about to argue with that.
NOT.ESP works on both Android and iOS, needs no internet connection, and performs in any language. And as if that weren't enough, it comes bundled with a second, completely separate app. Instantly doubling your repertoire.
NOT.ESP is available at any Murphy's Magic dealer, or you can check out with our featured dealer, Vanishing Inc!
