Candy from thin air
On this episode of How Is It Made?, we're taking a look at the lollipop. This classic confectionary is a constant in the candy canon, but you might just be a sucker if you think you know how these are made.
Danny Weiser, Gustavo Sereno and Gonçalo Gil, show you exactly how to create your own lollipops with Wonder Pop 2.
The lollipop starts its lifecycle in an unusual place: a bottle of bubbles. The candymaker takes the bottle and blows as many bubbles as possible. With a discerning eye, the confectioner finds a perfectly circular bubble, and catches it in midair! Now solidified, the bubble is attached to a common lollipop stick.
At this point, it's clear that the candy isn't done, as the ball is completely transparent. It's then with one swift move of his hands, that the the manufacturer transforms the lollipop in the blink of an eye.
He now holds a delicately wrapped candy that is ready to be passed out and enjoyed by his spectators!
That might not be how actual lollipops are made, but it's how you can make them, dazzling audiences of kids and adults alike with Wonder Pop 2!
