No task too big
The most rewarding part of releasing a magic trick is seeing what happens when it stops belonging to you. We spent four years prototyping, designing, and routining to finally release Color Match Taskmaster. And now that it's out in the world, we couldn't be happier to see how many of you have already incorporated it into your acts, and in some incredibly creative ways.
We've spent the past month combing through emails and DMs watching incredible performances sent in by you all. When you spend years working on something, you start thinking you know every application, but that isn't remotely true.
The classic color match routine has been perfected by Taskmaster. You ask your spectator to choose any series of colors to fill in a picture while you turn away from them. When they've finished coloring, you turn around to reveal that you have chosen the exact same colors.
But thanks to the new gimmicked case, you aren't limited to markers; you can load anything into Taskmaster and know exactly which one was selected.
One of our favorite routines comes from a mentalist who wrote down celebrity names in tubes and loaded those into Taskmaster. He combined the technology with the one ahead principle to accurately predict who each spectator's 'celebrity crush' was.
We provide a few ideas extra in the tutorial, but we know that our audience is so creative that we've only scratched the surface of what Taskmaster can do.
Color Match Taskmaster is available at any Murphy's Magic dealer, or you can check out with our featured dealer, Magic Apple!
