I hope it’s not a surprise to you to find out I don’t buy everything we sell on
Meh. But I did today. I actually didn’t plan to buy today’s
oversized towels, but two things changed my mind:
First, you all bought the hell out of ‘em. Like, immediately—I think we sold sixty 2-packs in the first 7 minutes. And we’re over two thousand 2-packs now. I’d thought these would do well, and obviously we knew they’re a good deal, but there’s something about selling 4,000 towels in 14 hours that triggers a little extra “holy crap” in how you feel it’s going.
Second, my wife texted me. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure she checks
Meh every day. And, again, just to be transparent, a lot of what we sell isn’t her cup of tea. But she did text today, and…well, now we’re the proud owner of
five 2-packs of beach towels.
So I guess that’s what flips my switch. If you’re up for
sharing in the forum, I’d love to hear what drives you all to go from “probably not” to “all in” on a deal.
