From a young age, I’ve had a passion for fashion and people. I started by making clothes for myself as a teenager, drawn to the creativity, self-expression, and transformative power of fashion. It made me feel confident and inspired, and I wanted to share that feeling with others.
Over the years, I’ve worked in every aspect of the clothing trade, from design and manufacturing to retail, gaining a deep understanding and appreciation for the industry.
In the early days, I sold knitwear from friends’ garages, where I discovered not just a knack for sales and enterprise, but a genuine love for connecting with people.
That love for fashion and community has been my constant motivation, ultimately leading me to become the owner and director of Magazine Designer Clothing. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I feel incredibly blessed to still be doing what I love every day.
From sketch to stitch, our in-house Magazine and Blanc pieces capture the Magazine ethos—timeless style, quality fabrics, and a focus on fit. Proudly NZ-made, designed to ensure every woman looks and feels fabulous, with sizes up to 26, presented alongside a great selection of other local labels and curated international brands.
