On June 17th, Oriental Art Auctions presents the Islamic Art Hammer Auction.
The sale features Asian Art, including Chinese & Islamic Art, Antiquities and Varia.
Highlights include a Safavid Calligraphic Quatrian, signed by ‘Muhammed Afdal', a fine illuminated Ottoman Quran written by Ali Al-Rahmi, two large illuminated Muhaqqaq Quran leaves, an Ottoman metal thread embroidered hanging Sitara and a Waqfiyyah scroll dated 982 AH/1574 AD.
