Long Melody
We’re pleased to present Long Melody, the latest limited edition by Liz West. Composed of thousands of overlapping, vibrantly coloured, vertical triangular stripes, a mix of hues emerge, symbolising a physical and metaphorical meeting point.
Signed and numbered by the artist, the artwork comes presented shadow-mounted, in a bespoke recessed box frame, selected by our designers.
Long Melody is derived from a 5-metre section of Liz West’s 2020 large-scale wall-based artwork Our Melody Unwound, which is a permanent site-specific piece spanning across the atrium walls of the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool.
This installation was West’s first permanent two-dimensional wall-based artwork, covering an area of more than 800sqm.
