One of the most influential forces in electronic music on this side of the millennium is back after a 13-year album hiatus!
No one quite like Boards of Canada has managed to fuse a beautiful, ambient, and deeply nostalgic sound with an unmistakable underlying eeriness, perhaps best described by the term “uncanny.” It’s no coincidence that their style is often labeled as hauntology. And judging from the brief preview we’ve heard so far in the track Tape O5, it thankfully seems like a classic BoC release is on the horizon.
We’ll get the album on black vinyl and CD, and we also have access to a very limited quantities of a deluxe edition on red vinyl. Unfortunately, we don’t know how many copies we’ll be able to secure, so we can’t guarantee fulfillment - but we’ll do everything we can to meet demand.
