Estate & General Goods Online Auction 20th - 24th March
Hayward’s has another Estate & General Goods auction ready for viewing. It starts today, Friday March the 20th with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 24th. We have a wide range of items on offer, from antique to modern, so please come in for a browse if you’re in town, and check it out on our website where you’ll find photos and descriptions of every lot:
This week we have set up some extra jewellery cabinets ti display all the costume jewellery rings, necklaces and pendants, earrings, bangles and beads, banknotes and coins, wristwatches, brooches, pins, metal and cloth badges and buttons, Apple airpods, glass miniatures and all sorts of other interesting small collectables. You’ll also find display dolls, David Winter cottages, art glass vases, digital and film cameras, comics, books, bottles of wine, decanters and spirit miniatures, Funko Pop! and M&M collectable figures, leather jackets, camping and sports equipment, lawn bowls, rustic garden bench seats, a cast iron chiminea, card tables, plastic storage drawers, metal filing cabinets and plan drawers.
In furniture we have some more retro fabric-covered lip chairs, a brown leather club-style 3-piece lounge suite, black leather chairs and settees, woven cane tub chairs, some nice dining suites including a compact round glass-topped table with mahogany overlay, solid pine table with seagrass upholstered chairs, a vintage kauri circular pedestal extending table, lots of retro and contemporary bedroom furniture chests of drawers, bedside cabinets and mirror-back dresser, sideboards, coffee and end tables, bookcases and display cabinets, standard lamps, plant stands and occasional tables, bedside and anglepoise lamps.
Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Fun Ho and other die cast model vehicles, wooden and electric railway sets, chess pieces, jigsaw puzzles, games and toys, Pokemon and sports cards, child size violin and guitar, ukuleles, TVs, CD & DVD players, turntables, amplifiers, radios, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, LPs and 45s. Plants, planters, wall barometers, mirrors, prints and posters, original oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings, table, tea and coffee ware, crystal and glassware, art glass vases, studio pottery, porcelain metal, wood ornaments and figurines, wooden towel rails, wool blankets and throws.

Please note – we are closed on Monday for Otago Anniversary Day. Viewing times for this auction are Saturday March 21st from 9:00am –12:00pm and Tuesday the 24th from 9:00am – 5:00pm with the first lots closing Tuesday at 6:00pm.
