Vintage, Antique & Collectable Online Auction 9th - 14th April
Hayward’s has another of our popular Vintage, Antique & Collectable timed online auctions set up and ready for viewing, and with 839 lots of antique, vintage, retro and more modern items, you’ll be sure to find something of interest. Bidding starts at 5:00pm today, Thursday April 9th with the first lots closing on Tuesday the 14th at 6:00pm.
The jewellery cabinets are full of treasures for collectors with numerous antique gold and sterling silver-cased pocket watches, gold half and full sovereign coins and other coins, medallions, bank notes, stamps and stamp albums. Sterling silver and gold jewellery including bangles, bracelets, rings, earrings, pendants and brooches. Other Sterling silver items of note include a large set of king’s pattern cutlery, a 1920s tea set, condiments, napkin rings, yerba mate spoons and serving items, thimbles and dressing table items. We have a beautiful little Clarice Cliff Bizarre lidded jam pot, Moorcroft pottery, uranium and carnival glass, Beswick horse and rider figures, Lladro and other figurines.
You’ll find an ornate clock with Victorian era glass-domed base, a French winged figure cast metal and marble mantel clock, French style tole ware wash stand, stereoscope viewers and cards, vintage photos, art glass vases, bowls and paperweights, German pottery vases and crocks, spirit kettles, stoneware crocks and Shell oil bottles. We have a cast alloy victory bell, WW1-era water canteen, vintage German flight calculator, a metal aeroplane model on Lithuanian map base, powder flask and shot measure, vintage enamel ware. Tonka, Buddy L, Matchbox, Triang and Fun Ho toy vehicles, Jim Beam classic car decanters, New Zealand military and history books, Phantom comics.
Victorian furniture includes a flame mahogany bookcase chiffonier, oak break-front kitchen cupboard and kauri mirror-back sideboard and an oak gothic revival settle. Other vintage and reproduction pieces include an impressive gilt finish combination wall mirror & marble topped hall table, Colonial kauri 4 drawer round corner chest on bun feet and a colonial cedar round breakfast table, oak Georgian style open shelved dresser, mahogany and oak sideboards and chests, Victorian and regency-style dining suites, oak Morris-style armchairs, console and hall tables, end and occasional tables, mirror back dressing tables and sideboards. A retro Don lounge suite, brown leather deep-button settee, vintage deep-button back lady’s and gent’s chairs, asian mahogany 2-piece double-sided display cabinet, kauri colonial style bookcase chiffonier, mahogany wardrobe in the style of a linen press.
Crown Lynn swan, kingfisher centrepiece, wall pocket, trough and other vases, Blue Mountain figures including some less common animal figures with certificates, European porcelain figures and tea ware, retro duck book-ends, figurines, Carlton ware, Poole, and Denby table ware, Royal Crown Derby, Royal Albert, Wedgwood, Grafton, Shelley, Paragon, tea and table ware, a Japanese lithophane tea set, deco Piquot Ware cast alloy tea sets, character jugs, and Royal Doulton collectors will want to check out the 27 lots of Doulton including tea and table ware, Lambeth hunting scene jug and numerous Dickens, Gaffers, Shakespeare, Autumn Glory and other series ware pieces.
