Vintage, Antique & Collectable Online Auction 2nd - 7th October
It Hayward’s has prepared another of our popular Vintage, Antique & Collectable timed online auctions and with 915 lots, there’s bound to be something of interest for everyone. Bidding starts at 5:00pm today, Thursday the 2nd of October with the first lots closing on Tuesday the 7th at 6:00pm. 
  
This auction features a great assortment of Chinese vintage and reproduction furniture and ornaments including wedding chests, a beautifully decorated black lacquer 2-piece bureau and other lacquer chests and cabinets, yoke-back chairs, carved wooden figures, stone foo dogs, jardinieres, plant stands, cloisonne and porcelain vases and bowls, a beautiful large bronze seated buddha. There’s a pair of Asian hardwood columns, a Georgian cutlery urn and a very ornate German majolica lidded urn. 
  
You’ll also find ceramic tiles and an impressive carved Oamaru stone panel by stonemason Marcus Wainright, a rare JH Lynch “Wanda” print in good condition and other Lynch & Vernon Ward prints, hand coloured White’s Aviation, vintage New Zealand portrait & scenic photos, colourful lantern slides, framed prints and lots of original artworks. African wall masks and standing figures and a wonderful range of  jewellery including gold, silver, diamond, opal, garnet, turquoise, cameo and other rings, earrings, pendants and more. Bottles of Dom Perignon, LP records include The Beatles Collection boxed set and a collection of Rolling Stones albums. 
  
Furniture includes a Jacobean style monk's seat with lion arm rests, an 18th century oak trunk, 19th century French oak desk and serving sideboard, Edwardian lounge chairs, Victorian settees, traditional style rimu wall units, bookshelves, a colonial kauri 10-drawer dresser, Victorian walnut inlaid centre table, cylinder-top double-pedestal desks, a colonial kauri & rimu wind-out dining table. Retro mahogany buffet sideboard & mixed timber wardrobe, Scandinavian style teak bow-front sideboard and a mahogany low mirror-back dresser, retro coffee tables, coat and magazine racks, cast metal patio furniture, wall barometers, clocks and table lamps. 
  
Star Trek and Star Wars figures, puzzles, robotic toys and models, boxed 1:18 die cast Jaguar cars, vintage cast metal motorcycle and side car, a fantastic ride-on rocking snail, a tricycle, collector Barbies and vintage porcelain dolls, framed arrowhead collections, railway collectables, rail and nautical lights & lanterns, bicycle and miner’s lamps, vintage scales and weights, model cannons, model stationary steam engines, polished rock and mineral samples, stamp albums and coin sets, fire extinguishers, blow torches, brass and copper pots, kettles, coal fired irons, heavy brass spigots and taps, fishing rods and reels, brass bugles. 
  
Uranium glass marbles, light shades and vases including a large float bowl, Ertling and Lalique moulded glass, early Doulton flambe, a WWI-era bulldog, a beautiful Cranston Pottery Tukan tube-lined vase, Beswick bull, cow, pig, shire horse and many other figurines, character jugs, Crown Lynn, Titian Ware, Orzel, German pottery, a blue & green Bitossi bottle vase, Orrefors glass including a Nils Landgren tulip vase and other glass and crystal vases and ornaments, chemist’s bottles, coloured glass soda syphons.
