Estate & General Goods Online Auction 24th - 28th October
It Hayward’s has another Estate & General Goods timed online auction set up and it starts today, Friday Oct. 24th with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 28th. It’s a classic jam-packed auction this week, so please come in for a browse if you’re in town, and check it out on our website where you’ll find photos and descriptions of every lot:
Just in time for Halloween, we have witches and skeletons and box lots of hats, wigs, masks and scary decorations. There are also dolls, which some find scary, and more as-new packaged Barbies, Bratz, Sindy, Furby, Mr. Potato Head and more toys and figures, Darth Vader mask and plush toy, Star Wars alarm clocks, Pokemon cards, model jet airliners, carded Hot Wheels, boxed Matchbox and other die-cast vehicles, plastic model kits, robotic kits and lots of other toys, games and puzzles.
You’ll find some nice lounge suites and settees in fabric and leather, a roll-top desk, a pair of mahogany mid-century wingback armchairs, hardwood dining tables and solid pine bedroom chests, large wall units and display cabinets, rimu buffet sideboard, bookcases, mattresses and bed frames. There are retro armchairs, a bamboo and formica dining suite, an unusual glass top table with a composite stone block base.
There’s an Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 USB turntable and other hifi and A/V components and speakers, portable radios, film and digital cameras, lots of great books, a guitar, ukulele and home keyboard, DVDs, CDs, LPs, wristwatches, coins, stamps, costume jewellery, sewing machines and dressmaker’s forms, leather and fur jackets, gent’s 2-piece suit, Nike high-top basketball shoes, Merrell hiking boots, a flotation vest, wooden treen ware, art glass and studio pottery items, glassware, crystal, cutlery, table ware and box lots of china plates, tea ware, ornaments and other odds and ends.
We have more perfumes, most still sealed in the original packaging, a great assortment of bottles of wine, spirits and liqueurs, a treadmill, camp chairs, fishing reels and lures, under-bench fridges and other white ware, microwaves, kitchen appliances and coffee makers, concrete bird baths, plant stands, indoor and outdoor plants and planters, patchwork quilts, wall hangings, curtains, throws, blankets and beanbags, floor and table lamps, coffee tables, floor rugs, vintage and reproduction wall clocks, barometers, wall shelves, deco and ornately framed mirrors, framed prints and paintings.

Viewing times for this auction are Saturday Oct. 25th from 9:00am –12:00pm, and Tuesday 9:00am – 5:00pm (no viewing on Monday as it is a public holiday) with the first lots closing Tuesday October 28th at 6:00pm.
