Estate & General Goods Online Auction 1st - 5th August 2025
This week we have a big, beautiful Estate & General Goods timed online auction for you, starting today, Friday August 1st at 5:00, with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 5th. We have over 800 lots this week with something for everyone, so please come in for a browse if you’re in town, and check it out on our website where you’ll find photos and descriptions of every lot:
You’ll find our usual wide variety of goods, from vintage to modern, with small collectables in the display cases and scattered about the room, and some bigger items vying for attention – a Bay Sports inflatable kayak, an Invacare mobility scooter, a rowing machine, quality display cabinets, bookshelves and sideboards, leather settees and lounge chairs, potted plants, planters, and a nice assortment of patio tables, chairs and loungers.
You also find Coca-Cola collectables, cast-iron door stops, ceramic pot lids, Suki and Ralph Lauren collectable teddy bears, boxed Barbie and other dolls, toys and games, Duplo and retro Torro building blocks, puzzles, marbles, plastic model kits. Brass figurines and vases, art glass paper weights, bowls and vases, Blue Mountain pottery, craft stencils, die-cutters, pieces of fabric and leather, a sewing machine.
Retro metal bamboo, cane, and woven plastic chairs, plant stands and glass-topped shelves, magazine racks and tables, metal cased wall clocks and animal head barometer-thermometers, landscape and other paintings and prints, plastic duck decoys, mailboxes, cane baskets and hampers, copper jelly moulds, souvenir felt pennants, gym weights, tools, wristwatches, costume jewellery, fountain pens, compasses, valve radios.
Lots of children’s Golden picture books, music books on Led Zeppelin, John Lennon, The Beatles etc. with other books on sport, air flight, cookery, art, photography, local Dunedin topics and more. Music and other DVDs, CDs, TVs, DVD players, sound bars, audio equipment, acoustic guitars, recorders, woollen rugs and throws, lamps, floor rugs and lots more quality furniture, white ware, home wares and collectable items.
You’ll find photos and descriptions of everything on our website, where you can create a wish-list and place your bids. If you’re in town, you can inspect everything in-person here at 5 Carroll Street in Dunedin. Viewing times for this auction are Saturday August 2nd from 9:00am –12:00pm, Monday & Tuesday 9:00am – 5:00pm with the first lots closing Tuesday the 5th at 6:00pm.
