Estate & General Goods Online Auction 15th - 19th August
This week we have another fine Estate & General Goods timed online auction lined up, starting today, Friday August 15th with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 19th. We have a great variety of items on offer, so please come in for a browse if you’re in town, and check it out on our website where you’ll find photos and descriptions of every lot:
You’ll find retro wall clocks and barometers, framed and loose prints, posters and photographs, framed watercolours, oils and acrylics, magazine racks, rugs, throws and blankets, brass and glass hanging light fittings and 2 large bevelled edge mirrors in silver finish frames. Vintage mantel clocks and radios, bale stencils, camp stoves, bottles of wine and spirits, collectable bottles and tins, perfume, book-ends and money boxes, small chests of drawers & trinket boxes, art paints and brushes, sewing machines, cast iron bake ware, espresso makers, food processors and other kitchen appliances and bake ware.
A guitar, ukes including a Mahalo 6-string guitalele, recorders and other musical instruments, CDs, LPs, cassette tapes, DVDs and boxed DVD sets, a big set of Star Trek on VHS, a Kenwood turntable, Yamaha hifi components, Wharfedale and Klipsch speakers, a retro gramophone and portable cassette players and radios. Books on gemstones, military and local NZ histories, art and antiques, comic and children’s books. Tools, hardware and fixings, a Kiwigarden raised garden planter and various pottery planters and lots of plants and seedlings, a vacuum cleaner, filing and storage drawers, timber chests and coal scuttles.
Crystal and glass bowls, decanters, glasses and ornaments, brass candlesticks, jugs and figurines, plated trays and serving ware, German, NZ and other pottery lamp bases, bowls, mugs, plates. Display dolls and teddy bears, costume jewellery, brooches, badges, watches, coins, notes and stamp albums, numerous pocket knives, die-cast vehicles, plastic model kits, Lego, jigsaw puzzles, fishing rod and reel.
We have the usual mix of vintage, reproduction and contemporary furniture including timber dining tables and chairs, double pedestal desks, a deco leadlight display sideboard, tall kitchen dresser, brass-bound hardwood folding deck chairs, a bent wood and cane rocker, a pair of retro swivel & tilt loungers, brown leather lounge suite and corner unit and fabric-covered lounge suites, settees and chairs. Coffee and end tables, floor rugs, white ware – the list goes on.

If you’re in town, you can inspect everything in-person here at 5 Carroll Street in Dunedin. Viewing times for this auction are Saturday August 16th from 9:00am –12:00pm, Monday & Tuesday 9:00am – 5:00pm with the first lots closing Tuesday the 19th at 6:00pm.
