H.R. Giger's Techno Skull from 1981 exemplifies his signature biomechanical style, blending human anatomy with industrial and mechanical forms. The work reflects his exploration of the fusion between technology and the body, a theme that defined much of his career. One of the rarest handbags ever to come to auction, this Hermès Bleu Marine Courchevel Leather Birkin is twice signed by the iconic bag's namesake, Jane Birkin herself. This cardboard "Hooray for JFK" placard is a rare surviving artifact from President John F. Kennedy's final public appearance in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Such handheld placards were carried by well-wishers gathered along the motorcade route and at Love Field to greet the president and first lady upon their arrival. According to family history, this example was recovered by a military serviceman assisting with security operations amid the immediate aftermath of Kennedy's assassination.
