Our April 23 Prints &
Multiples Signature® Auction brings
together a vibrant cross section of postwar and contemporary printmaking, where
iconic imagery meets material innovation. Leading the sale are two standout
works by David
Hockney, whose luminous compositions continue to
redefine the possibilities of the printed image. A strong selection of Andy
Warhol and Roy
Lichtenstein works anchor the auction in the
visual language of Pop, their unmistakable styles as resonant as ever.
Expanding beyond the wall, a dynamic group of sculptures from Art
Foundry Editions introduces a compelling
dimensionality, while works by contemporary artists such as Banksy, RETNA and Harland
Miller infuse the sale with a distinctly current
edge.

René Lalique valued his cire perdue
(lost wax) creations above all other glass, evidenced by his proud displays of
these "secrets d'artiste" in numerous public
exhibitions. In Quatre
Guirlandes de Roses Entrelacs Quatre Pieds Vase, circa 1921, which headlines
Heritage's April 30 Early 20th Century Design Signature® Auction, the
superbly modeled roses René Lalique carved in wax are brought to life through a
subtle sepia patina. The auction also features several Tiffany Studios lamps
and vases, including an early Apple Blossom table lamp, circa 1910. Other top lots include works by
Zsolnay, Harriet
Whitney Frishmuth, Gallé, Manuel
Orazi, Josef
Hoffmann and Alphonse Mucha.

Our May 1 Modern Design
Signature® Auction presents a dynamic
survey of 20th- and 21st-century design, including celebrated pioneers and
standout contemporary makers across furniture, studio craft and decorative
arts. The auction boasts important contemporary glass, including 10 works by
master glassmaker Lino
Tagliapietra, alongside works by Dale
Chihuly, Stephen
Powell, Toots
Zynsky and others. It
also features key works by Frank
Lloyd Wright, George
Nakashima, Evelyn
and Jerome Ackerman, Peter
Voulkos, and Philip
and Kelvin LaVerne. Complementing these are
striking examples of Machine Age design, including cocktail
shakers and related objects that capture the
sleek, industrial aesthetic of early modernism.

Our Duel
Diagnosis Collection Urban Art Showcase Auction, which
closes May 7, features the collaborative works of Dave Navarro and PADHiA. This deeply personal and expressive collection explores
the complexities of the human experience, with themes centered on struggle,
healing and self-acceptance. Through a compelling range of original works and
related pieces, the artists present a shared vision that embraces honesty,
individuality and the beauty found within imperfection. Carefully curated by
our specialists, this sale stands as both a celebration of artistic
collaboration and a powerful reminder that our stories are not burdens, but
meaningful reflections of who we are.

Website Tips: Bid Protection
|
Bid Protection allows you to ensure you are not outbid by automatically increasing your bid to the next full increment if you are outbid during the live event. This protects you from being "sniped" by a single increment. Bid Protection can be entered on all items except the current lot and the next upcoming lot in a Live Auction.
Note: The extra increment won't be placed until the item is up for live bidding, so it is possible that you could be outbid by a bid placed prior to live bidding, such as another proxy bid, live proxy bid, mail bid, etc., which could result in your losing the lot by that one increment. For the same reason, it is also possible that a currently losing bid with bid protection placed could potentially win the lot once the lot is subject to live bidding and the Bid Protection increment(s) is placed.
