New Zealand and 29 other countries are currently holding exhibitions as part of Botanic Art Worldwide.
May 18th has been designated 'World Day of Botanical Art' and the Auckland Botanic gardens will be hosting workshops and demonstrations over that weekend.
Importantly, Professor Nick Roskruge will be giving a presentation on the theme of traditional foods, their cultural significance and artistic expression related to these foods.
