To mark 250 years since the birth of Jane Austen, we are delighted to present a most handsome Limited Edition bound in woven silk and cotton by Stephen Walters, the Suffolk mill that has been weaving for royalty since 1720.
All six beloved novels are printed using the text of the very first editions and adorned with bespoke monograms by calligrapher Ruth Rowland and illustrations by Sarah Young, whose work balances tradition with inventive techniques. Think woodcut frontispieces paired with linocuts shaped like Adamesque ceilings, a neoclassical nod to Austen’s own era. Add gilded edges and a sparkling foreword by Lucy Worsley and you’ve got a set that’s every bit as charming as Austen herself.
