Our two day Fine & Applied Arts Auction achieved outstanding results with a sell by value rate of 105% and a sell through rate of 80%. There were numerous highlights. The most significant result which was a record price for the artist Dorothy Kate Richmond for her work Outside the Pā, almost doubling the previous record. Other highlights include Colin McCahon's Oaia Island Necessary Protection which sold for $182,000 including premium and Bill Sutton's Land and Sky VIII achieved $79,000 including premium. Entries are currently invited for our next Fine & Applied Arts Auction to be held in March 2026.
