What if you could buy a frying pan once — and never need to replace it again?
Most of us have owned too many non-stick pans. They scratch, peel, warp, and end up in the bin. It’s wasteful, costly, and despite the marketing spin, rely on PFAS "forever chemicals" for the non-stick effect.
After years of using them for my family, I was annoyed to learn that a proven cancer-causing PFAS (PFOA) was only banned in Australia a few months ago. Some brands say they stopped using it in 2013, yet with zero regulation who knows what was being used.
Now we're being asked to trust that the next PFAS they've moved onto — PTFE — is completely safe. Personally, I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt.
The good news? There is a real alternative!
Meet Solidteknics: Australian-made, built-for-life cookware. Not only safer and less wasteful, but far more affordable than replacing non-stick again and again. We explain it all for you here.
