Smartcards and Windows Local Accounts Usage
Hi,

I'm interested in using our existing smartcard population for non-domain or
standalone desktop login and remote desktop client login. Is this doable? Are
there docs on this? I know SC functionality is mainly geared to domain
environments but there's a large standalone population here.

Not without some kind of 3rd party support, no. Smart card logon in Windows
depends upon Keberos. No Kerberos, no smart card logon.
