You can't delete it because it's normal to be there. Find something else to obsess about.
Those are normally there.. If you don't want to see them, then go back to "hide protected operating system files". Organize - Folder and Search options View - [ x ] hide protected operating system files (Recommended) OK -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "moonlight" wrote in message news:c18dd1fb71ce6edb8df2347e85bf8493@nntp-gateway.com... > > Hi, > Can anyone tell me how to remove $RECYCLE.BIN and system Volume > Information Folders in my D drive? i think i got this from USB and its > some sort of virus coz i am not able to delete it! > > > +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ > |Filename: problem.jpg | > |Download: http://www.vistax64.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6795 | > +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ > > -- > moonlight

Leave them alone. They contain your deleted items and your system restore information (among other things). The OS usually has these hidden so as to protect you from yourself. :o)
