Windows security center is telling me that âMalware protector is turned offâ even though it is on. It also says that I do not have anti-virus software when I do. Someone has suggested that my "wmi repository is not consistent" but I am "denied access" when I run CMD as the administrator and then enter "winmgmt/verifyrepository" to find out if this is so and "winmgmt/salvagerepository" to sort it out. How do I get access? The problem goes beyond the "security" issue. I also cannot install some downloaded patches from Microsoft and when I try to follow up on the error numbers I again come back to âCMDâ.
