Urgent!! 'Server' service doesnt start   

Hi,
I have a Windows Vista Enterprise Edition running in our network.
'Server' service fails to start with following error:

.......................
Windows could not start the Server service on Local Computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
........................

Path to executable is:
C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs.
