As the title suggests, I've got a *Canon LBP 5200*. I'm running Vista x64 and of course the *drivers won't install*. (and yes, I've tried running as admin and in compatability modes) Does anyone have a fix for this? Canon said that becaust Vista x64 is not in common use, they're not going to support it. I thought maybe if at least I could get the driver installer to run, maybe I could play around and least have some functions, but I can't fool it into working. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. I've also of course tried the Vista auto detect hardware thing, without any luck. Very sad. Chris  -- Mediachild

There does not appear to be a specific driver for this printer that word with any Windows 64 bit system. Since it is a GDI printer, the chances of finding a compatible driver range between slight to none. Consider getting a PCL printer or PostScript printer to replace it. Although there is no guarantee, chances are higher that you can get a good driver for every operating system there ever was or will be. -- Tom MSMVP 1998-2007 "Mediachild" wrote in message news:a129f905e87d8cb14f4cc68e3fa15bfa@nntp-gateway.com... > > As the title suggests, I've got a *Canon LBP 5200*.
