I have an HP laptop running Vista Home. Have a Lexmark wireless X4580 printer setup. When I try to print a multi page document pdf, docx etc. the printer only prints 1 page. The pop up Lexmark window shows that the printer is printing page1 &2&3 and then closes as if the print job has finished. However only 1 page is printed. Everything used to work OK and I don't know what has caused this problem. I have uninstalled the printer, downloaded drivers from Lexmark and reinstalled the printer. I restored the system back one month without any luck. The problem still exists. I also have an HP desktop with Vista and everything is fine. I would appreciate any help I can get. -- Just your average fireman who knows diddly sqat about computers.
I've had the same problem with my Brother MFC-440CN and Vista Home Basic. Try changing Printer properties (Control Panel\Printers) and click Advanced\Printer Processor button. Here you can try to change Printer processor: WinPrint, ModiPrint, hpzpplhn, LMPRTPRC. I solved my problem choosing hpzpplhn (RAW). For Lexmarks you can try WinPrint (NT EMF 1.008). Hope this works for you! Let me know... Ciao! -- hexaae laptop compaq/hp presario f500ea, vista home basic (sp1, x86, ita), 2gb ram, geforce go 6100 (forceware 156.87).
You can also try to deactivate 'Enable advanced printing features' in the printer, advanced, properties... -- hexaae laptop compaq/hp presario f500ea, vista home basic (sp1, x86, ita), 2gb ram, geforce go 6100 (forceware 156.87).
