Vista loses wireless connection after hibernation
Greetings,

This problem has not always existed. It appears to start about 3 months
after new or getting slammed.

My update are in order and I have SP1.

Re: Vista loses wireless connection after hibernation
Hi
It is a common phenomenon, unlike wired connection the Wireless depends too
much on the OS and when the computer goes to sleep it disconnects.
Check the advances power saving setting and try to get wireless card out of
saving. I.e. always On.
Make sure that your own Wireless connection is in the preferred list and set
to connect automatically.

Re: Vista loses wireless connection after hibernation
Thanks Jack for such a prompt answer.

But I am unable to find/locate any 'advances power saving settings'. I
never saw anywhere wireless card, this is a laptop.
