When I close WinMail I get a message that it has stopped working. And then "Program is closed and you will be notified if there is a solution on the problem" I then press the button "Close program". Then DEP tells me "DEP has closed Windows Mail to protect your computer ...". This is a bit annoying but send and receive mails work alright. I checked if I can remove the DEP from Win Mail but that is not alloed. I have Virusprotection on and Firewall is on. I removed all deleted mails (some 4000) but still the same ... Anyone any idea? Feels like something has been destroyed. Its only when I close down the program that this situation occurs. -- ITup
Which antivirus program? As a test, uninstall it to see if that cures your Windows Mail. You can always reinstall the antivirus. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "urban" wrote in message news:866A3E3E-9A97-4D75-9F3D-7B93D011C8F4@microsoft.com... > When I close WinMail I get a message that it has stopped working. > And then "Program is closed and you will be notified if there is a solution > on the problem" > I then press the button "Close program". > Then DEP tells me > "DEP has closed Windows Mail to protect your computer ...". > -- > ITup
