0x80070570 error
I am trying upgrade from win XP Pro to Vista Ultimate with no luck. I am
running a Asus board, with Athlon processor, 2 Gig mem, IDE drive. I install
all XP without any errors, yes it activated, and have tried patched and
unpatched versions with the same results. During the upgrade I recieve a
error 0x80070570 system does not upgrade, resulting in a boot-loop. I just
bought the OS, it is not a download.

I don't think it is the DVD drive, since it reads the other install fine,
and other CDs etc; The hard drive I would guess is also fine, since it
installed the previous version fine, and I have refomated the drive on
serveral occations. The failure occurs at the same point with the same
error. So I am note sure if I have a memory problem which is causing the
crash, or if the media is acually bad out of the box... which would be a
first for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
