Error when installing Vista x64
Hello all, am sure this one has been mentioned before so am sorry for
Re-posting if it has, i just have limited access to the internet so im
posting whilst i get a chance.

I am currently installing Windows Vista 64 to a Raided (stripe) system
its a fresh install on formatted drives and ive encountered nothing but
problems along the way... the latest problem occurs during the
intallation of Vista it gets to expanding files 10% and comes up with an
error message saying " Windows cannot install the required files. The
file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installation are
available and restart the installation. Error Code: 0x80070003"
After having googled it ive not found anything specific only people
trying different methods of installing as i have allready! from 3
different DVDs (none illegal just lent friends copys i have my own
code!) and HDD.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Mark :)

Re: Error when installing Vista x64
First confirm that-
Make sure your Bios is up to date

Unplug any peripherals such as, printers, external drives, microphone
webcams etc.

If all fails then copy the Vista disc at a slow speed maybe 2x and then
try as it may be the disc.
