'Here' (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930984) is a possible solution from the MSKB, depending on the system you are using... it certainly fits my problem... just gotta get firmware for my dvd drive, I hope! Or... does anyone know how to perform a flat install of vista on a blank hdd? -- brainfishes
