Hi, Was helping a friend today to delouse his virus infested PC's. One is a Windows Vista Home Premium installation, and the other a Windows XP. What I noticed is that on the Vista PC there is no [Tools] menu in the folder windows (ie. in windows explorer). (IIRC, there didn't seem to be any equivalent menu in Internet Explorer either) My own PC also uses Windows Vista Home Premium and has the appropriate [Tools] menu. QUESTION: Is this a switchable feature of Vista? (If so, how to switch?) or - is this yet another of the viruses on his PC? PS: I've loaded the latest AVG pro anti-virus/firewall product and healed/removed several infections - but the virus scan is now showing no new threats, yet the [Tools] menu still isn't there.

Hi Richard, Press the ALT key and you will see the menu. It can be set to show always by selecting organize, then layout the check menu bar. -- Paul "Richard" wrote: > Hi, > > Was helping a friend today to delouse his virus infested PC's.
