Silicon Image SiI 0680 Ultra-133 Medley ATA Raid Controller
Hi all, new to the forums :)

I have been fighting with my PCI IDE Raid card. I have it set up as
RAID, I have been through F3 and set up which disk is the primary and
secondary.
In Vista I can see both drives in explorer and disk manager.

However... I'm not sure that RAID is working, I have set it up as
mirroring, so I would expect both disks to have the same data on. If I
copy something new to the primary disk it doesn't automatically get
copied to the secondary one.

Am I missing something here?

The install went OK and I can see the Sil680 SCSI adapter in Device
Manager, the driver is up to date and there is no yellow dot against it.

Hope someone can help

Thanks

Hi,

If you can see them as two separate disks, then the raid is not set up
correctly. To the operating system, a hardware raid set to mirror should
show as a single volume. Are you installing a raid driver during setup?
