When i right click pendrive drive letter in window explorer, there are both EJECT and REMOVE shortcut. What is the difference?

If possible it is physically ejected (CD or ZIP drives), otherwise logically only (card readers). There is no way to distinguish between card readers and USB flash drives since both pretend to have a removable media. Therefore Windows offers the 'Eject' item for USB flash drives too. 'Remove' removes the whole USB device. I it is a multislot card reader then all slots becomes unavaillable until the device is reattached. Since there is no way to distinguish between internal and external USB drives, "Remove" is offered for internal card readers too. Uwe
